When you look to go on holiday in the UK, you might search for “5 day breaks in the Lake District”, but what about the Yorkshire Coast?
We know people love coming to the Coast when the suns out, but if we want the area to be renowned for more that just a fleeting visit, we need to look at how we can inspire day trippers to extend their stay.
So, last year when we were letting people know about the BID, one business owner from Sewerby said “Have you ever seen the North Coast 500?” This acted as the catalyst for us to look at the Yorkshire Coast, the different experiences throughout the area and what our coastal competition has been doing.
One simple conversation, triggered the last 6 months researching and putting together our very own version. One that will promote your business, connect you to different experiences in the area and importantly, a project that will help contribute to further promoting the Yorkshire Coast as a top UK destination not only within the UK, but internationally too.
It is an ambitious project and the team are busy looking at how it will link with other BID projects to ensure that if approved, it is a valuable tool for all levy payers to use.
